The refreshing blur and youthfulness of this photo is unmatched in our
gallery so far. Straight from The Rugby Football Club in the Town of Rugby, England, Nick Mills,
give us a taste of The Rugby Mini Lions in action. The U9 teams are the first age
group allowed to have full contact tackling in England. For those new to our fair sport, it originated in Rugby, England in 1823 when William Webb Ellis, a local boy who was a pupil at Rugby School, reputedly committed an act of foul play during a game of football. He caught the ball when it was in the air and ran with it. | |
