I started playing aged 10 years in Dublin, Ireland.

Played senior rugby in the British Army from 1968 to 1980.

Started reffing in 1980, have reffed for British Army, Hampshire Society, Hong Kong Society, Gloustershire Society & Florida Referees Association.

Have refereed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Kenya, Canada, USA, Cuba, Bahamas, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Jamaica & Cayman Islands.

Have run referee clinics since 1985 for all the above societies and West Indies Rugby Union, Venezuela Rugby Union.

Am not dead yet & still going strong.
